Is PETA over the top or what?
I just found a crazy news story this morning and since I live one town away from the headquarters of one of the craziest groups ever, I thought it was only fair that I share this with you.
PETA wants Ben & Jerry, the founders of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream to start using human breast milk in their ice cream instead of cows milk!
Now, I may be just a little bitter about this topic, as I didn't find out until very late in life that I wasn't a breast fed baby. I always assumed I was because my little brother was and he's eight years younger than I am. I also always assumed I was because I grew up pretty healthy.
I had the usual childhood diseases. I remember getting the chicken pox and the mumps when I was a kid, but other than that, one of my claims to fame as a child was perfect attendance in school for a lot of the years I went to school.
I will say, that by the time I finished up in a public HS, my attendance had dropped significantly, but that had nothing to do with illness. It was more about just not going to school!
But, if you're interested, you can read the story here
. I'm now convinced that PETA is a group that can safely be put into the category of crazier than a shit house rat!!!
