This should make my little girl love me even more!!!
I took this quiz to see which superhero I am and it told me I was my youngest daughters favorite superhero!!!
Of course, I believe I'm Superman...so, this all comes as a shock to me!!!
You scored as Spider-Man, Spider-Man can cling to most surfaces, has superhuman strength and is roughly 15 times more agile than a regular human. He has been able to lift 15 tons under optimal conditions, but his current strength level after his rebirth has yet to be determined. The combination of his acrobatic leaps and web-slinging enables him to travel rapidly from place to place. His spider-sense provides an early warning detection system linked with his superhuman kinesthetics, enabling him the ability to evade most any injury, provided he doesn't cognitively override the autonomic reflexes.
Got this in an e-mail...
And it made me laugh enough that I thought I should share it with you.
Subject: I'm a Father
A little boy got on the bus, sat next to a man reading a book, and noticed he had his collar on backwards.
The little boy asked why he wore his collar that way.
The man, who was a priest, said, ' I am a Father.'
The little boy replied, 'My Daddy doesn't wear his collar like that.'
The priest looked up from his book and answered, -'I am the Father of many.'
The boy said, 'My Dad has 4 boys, 4 girls and two grandchildren and he doesn't wear his collar that way.'
The priest, getting impatient, said, 'I am the Father of hundreds' and went back to reading his book.
The little boy sat quietly thinking for a while, then leaned over and whispered, "Maybe you should wear your pants backwards instead of your collar"

That curse that every mother puts on her kids...
The other day I overheard my oldest daughter talking to a friend of hers. He had given her something and told her to put it somewhere she would see it all the time so she wouldn't forget about it. I heard her say something along the lines of...Where? Oh wait, I know, I'll put it on a mirror!
Now you have to know this girl to understand how funny that really is...there was a time when she was my little tomboy...those days are long gone unfortunately and now she thinks she's "hot" and she's not afraid to let you know that she believes she's "hot".
That's that curse that my mother put on me back in the day...you know the one...
I hope you have kids just like you!
I do have to say that one of my claims to fame is that I make good looking babies...and my daughters are my proof to that statement...
I keep seeing this commercial for a certain sleep aid. You've probably seen it...your dreams miss you.
I really worry about the guy in the commercial though...what can he possibly be dreaming about? I mean...Abe Lincoln? I can understand beaver...I dream about beaver all the time!!! And I can even understand the deep sea diver...when you associate it with the beaver...but Abe Lincoln?
But I really think, if I had dreams like that...I'd just stay awake!
This has got to be one of the ugliest things I've ever pulled out of the water...
...well, there was that one time...but she doesn't count...I was drunk!
I've gone out flounder fishing 3 or 4 times now and actually caught one flounder that was big enough to take home! Instead, I keep catching these wierd fish...skates, dogfish(they don't even fetch), and now these oyster crackers or toad fish...freaking ugly and slimey! This one hit my bait as soon as it hit the bottom of the bay!
But you know what they say...a day on the bay beats any day working!
I took the boat out yesterday...
...because I watched the news yesterday morning and they told me it would be great! They said, the waves on the bay were only 2-3 feet and the waves on the ocean were only 2-4 feet. Sounds pretty nice for a 21' boat doesn't it?
I launched the boat at a spot that puts me straight out into the ocean. I had a plan. There's a light tower about 10 miles off the coast that's supposed to have some good fishing.
We headed out and about an hour later, when I was only about halfway there, I turned around. I have a SeaTow contract, but I'm not sure how they'd tow my boat if the keel was facing up instead of down! The boat does pretty well in nasty seas like that, but it's definately not a cruise liner!
So, I pulled the boat out of the water and drove over to the bay. I get to the launch on the navy base and the girl behind the counter says, "You do know there's a small boat advisory in effect don't you?" "Oh yeah, I know all about it", I tell her..."I've already been out in it!"
Luckily the temperature was so nice that all that water that was spraying all over the boat actually felt really nice. But I feel a little beat up today...
You know, I burned more gas in my truck while pulling my boat around than I did with my boat! My truck does fine pulling my boat...it just drinks heavily while it does it!
